Pest Control Website Content
The key component of any website is the content. Web content is the textual, visual or aural content that is
encountered as part of the user experience on websites. It may include, among other things: text, images, sounds,
videos and animations.
Me First
Was our picture of a party dog the first thing you noticed on this page? If you are like 99% of website viewers, you
were helplessly drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Was it because of the red background color? Or, was it the dog in the
picture? Or, maybe it was that it was the only picture on the page. Of course, it could have been that the dog had on a
party hat.
Studies show that all of these factors draw website visitors attention. When designing websites for our
customers, we make sure that we draw attention to content that will build confidence, establish trust, express expertise,
and encourage action (a call or click).
Is Content King?
The old saying "Content is King" is as true today as it every has been. The phrase can be interpreted to mean
that - without original and desirable content, or consideration for the rights and commercial interests of content creators
- any media venture is likely to fail through lack of appealing content, regardless of other design factors.
Although is is true that most people consume the information on your website starting with the images and ending
with the text, the text is more important due to its influence on your search engine rankings. In addtion, you can clearly
spell out your list of services, competitive advantages, and sales and marketing messages with your websites text
content.
Building Clout and Influence
We base our content creation strategy of the concept of building confidence and clout. We have carefully crafted
our process based on research by Colleen Jones, "Clout: The Art and Science of Influential Web Content", and Dr.
Susan Weinschenk, "Neuro Web Design".
